Help Drive Health Tech Innovation

A brainstorming event with the School of Computing at Goldsmiths University, Blue Garage innovation hub and other NHS staff to help drive innovation in Health Tech

Who & What: NHS staff to come along with or without a pre-identified issue which will then be brainstormed within a collaborative setting

Please confirm if you are able to attend.

More information:

Goldsmiths University (School of Computing) recently successfully applied for some internal funding to develop relationships with external organisations around Health Tech. They are working with a local incubator, Blue Garage, to better understand issues faced by clinical/NHS staff as a starting point to develop new innovations and potentially new products.

They would like to hear directly from you to understand some of the key drivers for potential innovation to enable increased efficiency, patient-centric care, digital transformation and other outcomes.

To develop the ideas, there will be a brainstorming event involving NHS staff, Goldsmiths academics and Blue Garage on Friday 1st May, 9.30 to 12.

Blue Garage is an innovation hub with many health tech companies and members - such as KwickScreen, Vitrm, Teslasuit, slippery saints developing and supplying new products and technologies for the nhs and global healthcare markets.

Follow up:

The Brainstorming event will be followed by a Hackathon at a later date to develop the ideas identifed at the Brainstorming event and hopefully lead to student projects and possible incubation of ideas via Blue Garage. NHS staff will also be invited to this event. Date TBC, but it will take place in May.

Goldsmiths are also planning a number of Meet ups around Health Tech, which will be open to external visitors.
