Health Tech Hackathon - Goldsmiths & Blue Garage

Location: Blue Garage, Lewisham
Welcome to an innovative hackathon where you will get to build solutions to some key challenges in health tech, delivered in partnership by Goldsmiths, Blue Garage and Hacksmiths.
With other students you will build solutions to a number of issues that were identified by senior NHS staff, health tech entrepreneurs & academics in a brainstorming session in May this year.

Things we're looking for:
Insightful ideas. Solutions that directly tackle the issues identified in our previous brainstorm session (videos will be shared)
Human-centred ideas. Solutions targeted specifially at the core users, (NHS staff and patients)
Ideas that have commercial potential - an understanding of what the route to market might look like
Prizes:
£200 worth of vouchers to share between the winning team
Two funded places at Blue Garage from September (incubation and mentoring) for six months - all participants will be asked if they want to express an interest in this

How will it work:
participants will receive videos outlining the challenges in advance of the hackathon
recommended size of teams is 3 to 5 participants. We can help facilitate team formation on the day
